Spec Jonathan Daniel "Jon" Menke funeral

Army Spc. Menke was assigned to the 38th Military Police Company, 38th Infantry Division, Indiana Army National Guard, Danville, Indiana. He died of wounds sustained when debris from an improvised explosive device that was detonated on an overpass fell onto his vehicle in Baghdad, Iraq on Aug. 4, 2008. The first image shows the aerial ladders with the American Flag as the procession arrives in Madison.  

The second photo is at the entrance to the Indiana Veteran's Cemetery in Madison the day of the funeral.

Madison Fire Department received a request from the Hanover VFD for a ladder truck to respond to the Marble Hill incident on May 04, 2011 and dispatched Quint 6 from Station 6.
